Senior Assembly – Festival of the Arts
This week, Senior Assembly was a celebration of our students’ talent, creativity and commitment to the arts at Otago Boys’ High School.
The Festival of the Arts showcased the incredible range of opportunities available to our students and highlighted the many ways in which they contribute to the vibrant arts culture of our school.
The assembly featured a fantastic Pasifika performance, followed by speeches from our Board of Trustees student representatives. Students were then treated to a performance by Oscar Cadden, before Oban, Sam and Sam shared an update on what has been happening across the arts at OBHS and what exciting opportunities are coming up.
The musical performances continued with an impressive Jazz Combo performance, demonstrating the skill and dedication of our young musicians.
It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the students who give their time, energy and talent to the arts. Their commitment is helping to ensure that creativity, performance and artistic expression remain an important part of life at OBHS.
