Home to boarders since 1871
School House is consistently at capacity every year with approximately 135 boys, our hostel has a strong sense of community. Many of our boarders come from farming families and regional communities. They understand early mornings, hard work and responsibility - and they bring those values with them.
At School House, boys are supported to:
- Achieve academically through structured, supervised Prep
- Develop independence and resilience
- Build lifelong friendships
- Participate fully in sport, culture and leadership
- Learn respect, courtesy and cooperation
Our hostel environment is built on care and positive reinforcement. Housemasters and staff take the time to know each boy - his strengths, his challenges, his goals.
There is structure to each day, but there is also balance. Social events, house activities and weekend sport keep boys connected and engaged.
Most importantly, boys feel at home.
