France 2027 - here we come!
We are happy to announce that we will hold an information meeting on Thursday 22nd October at 7pm for parents and students who are interested in hearing about the 2027 French Language and Culture Immersion Tour.
This tour will run from 4th - 20th December 2027 and is aimed at students of French with a view to increasing their exposure to real life French and to exposing them authentically to the culture of France. This is not just a tourism tour. It has been carefully developed to improve your spoken French. You will be housed for part of the time in French homestay families.
Prerequisites for joining this tour are :
You are currently studying French in Year 11, 12 or 13
You will be studying French in Year 11 in 2027
You will be studying French, for the whole year in Year 10 2027
If the tour is oversubscribed, then priority will be given to students in that order.
This is a two center tour with sightseeing in Paris constituting 4 days of the time and the rest spent at secondary school, private language school, cooking classes and other educational visits, as well as homestay in the second center. Currently the second center is looking to be Lyon but that will depend on the availability of the French Lycee and homestay.
Attending this event puts you under no obligation, so come along and hear about this life-changing experience and how previous participants enjoyed their time!
