This week the Year 9 Māori module class visited Tūhura - The Otago Museum.

To conclude 9G’s unit on Travel Writing, the boys had to write a piece about a place they knew well. The tone of the piece needed to be upbeat, and the writing needed to utilise adjectives, fronted prepositions, dialogue, colloquial language and factual information.

At the beginning of Year 9 Art, we focus on drawing skills.
Year 9 English
9G spent the first half of the term focusing on the mechanics of letter writing. Their task required them to write to a friend encouraging them to take up a sport or hobby. Their writing needed to have an inspirational register, use colloquial language, imperative sentences and second personal pronoun usage.

9O have been working on Geometry in maths class recently.
