10Y’s camp experience
In Week 6, 10Y took a school camp up to the Mt Aspiring Lodge - located in the East Matukituki valley - for a fun week of activities.
Year 9 English
9G spent the first half of the term focusing on the mechanics of letter writing. Their task required them to write to a friend encouraging them to take up a sport or hobby. Their writing needed to have an inspirational register, use colloquial language, imperative sentences and second personal pronoun usage.
Year 13 Biology
On Thursday, our Year 13 Biology students went on a trip to investigate the differences that human disturbance may have on the biota.
Why 24?
Some of our Year 11 students were asked to investigate what happens when you square a prime number greater than 3 and subtract 1.
10O - A week at Mt Aspiring
Last week saw a small but very keen group of 10O boys travel to the OBHS Lodge for a week of fun filled activities.
