Year 13 Chemistry at the University of Otago
Our Year 13 Chemistry students have spent two days in the University of Otago Chemistry laboratories completing the practical component of their 3.1 Independent Investigation.
This was a fantastic opportunity for students to work in a professional laboratory environment, access specialist equipment, and experience life on a university campus. Throughout the trip, students showed great persistence as they tested and refined their experimental protocols, while steadily improving the accuracy of their techniques.
A huge thank you to Dr Zammit and Ms Cairns for accompanying and supporting our students, and to the University of Otago Chemistry Department for hosting us and providing such a valuable learning experience.
