K’s & A’s Showdown!
The Library was buzzing last Friday lunchtime as more than 40 students packed in for the high-stakes debut of our very first K’s & A’s (Kings & Aces) Competition.
With cards flying and intense focus across every table, players battled through rapid-fire initial rounds to secure the top spots. The competition reached fever pitch during the last-chance qualifier round, where quick thinking and sharp strategies determined the final contenders for the title.
When the dust settled, one player stood above the rest. Michael Alderton claimed the top spot after an epic final showdown! He was presented with his crown and a well-deserved canteen voucher at this week’s senior assembly, to a round of warm applause.
