Keeping our Old Boys connected
From Wānaka to Christchurch, Auckland and back to school, this year the Foundation has been busy creating opportunities for Old Boys to connect and reminisce about their days at OBHS.
In March we hosted a fantastic evening at Grant and Tess McLauchlan’s home in Wānaka over Wanaka Show weekend, bringing together Old Boys from across the region. In May, Richard Hall headed to Christchurch for an evening at the Canterbury Club, and in June he and Andrew Swan headed to an Auckland gathering at Old Boy Kent Gardner’s Boat Shed. Both of these functions were well attended and we had great feedback from many who enjoyed their evening with us.
Closer to home, we also hosted a reunion at school for the 1976 1st XV, giving members of the team a chance to return to where it all began and share some great memories.
Most recently, we held a special Volunteer Appreciation function, recognising the many volunteers who give their time, energy and expertise to support OBHS.
If you have missed hearing about any of these events, we make every effort to keep our community informed through our social media channels and stakeholder communications database.
Unfortunately, some emails don't always make it to their intended destination, finding their way into spam folders or bouncing altogether.
