Seeking help from our Wanaka contacts ...
Plans are underway for some much-needed maintenance at Aspiring Lodge during the next school holidays.
A builder has been engaged to replace ceiling panels throughout the Lodge, with a working bee planned to help get the job done. Volunteers are currently being organised for both their time and transport.
If you happen to have access to around 60 scaffold planks that could be loaned to the Lodge to create a temporary work platform, and/or have access to a vehicle capable of transporting 3–4 tonnes of building supplies from Wānaka to the Lodge, we'd love to hear from you.
