Help Our Students Succeed: NCEA Exam Supervisors Needed!
Our school is looking for responsible, calm, and reliable people from our community to work as NCEA Exam Supervisors for the upcoming exam season (10 November – 4 December 2026).
This is a paid, casual role. It is a wonderful way to support our senior students during an important time in their school lives!
What does an Exam Supervisor do?
Set up examination rooms before students arrive.
Admit students and make sure they find their correct seats.
Supervise the room calmly during the exam to ensure all NCEA exam rules are followed.
Collect and pack up exam papers securely at the end.
Assist with digital exams (basic computer comfort is helpful!).
Available Sessions
You can apply for morning sessions, afternoon sessions, or both:
Morning sessions: Start around 9:00 am
Afternoon sessions: Start around 1:30 pm
Each session takes about 3.5 to 4 hours total, including setup and pack-up time.
Who can apply?
We welcome parents, grandparents, university students, or anyone in the community who is organised, punctual, and has a calm demeanour. Please note that to keep things fair, you cannot supervise an exam room if a close relative (like your child or grandchild) is sitting an exam in that same session.
Note: All successful applicants must complete a standard police vetting check.
