De-extinction – Real or Hype?
De-extinction came up when 10B were studying their Genetics topic in Science.
Luckily, there is an expert in this field – Associate Professor Nic Rawlence – who was happy to visit and talk about the issue. He was extremely impressed with the insightful questions from our boys, particularly around other ways the technology could be used. It’s fantastic to see 10B applying their knowledge and questioning the science they encounter in the real world.
