Alexis Owen to Captain Team New Zealand at World Junior Surf Championships
Hello, my name is Alexis Owen, and my sister Zara and I are heading to the ISA World Junior Surf Championships in El Salvador, which runs from 4–14 September.
I recently found out that I have the honour of representing Team New Zealand as captain for the first time. After being part of this team for the past three years, I am excited to lead the team for the first time.
It looks like it’s going to be a great week of surfing, and Zara and I can’t wait!
