A Message from the Rector
As we head into the last day with our Year 13s, I am reminded of the journey they have been on.
Schools run in five-yearly cycles. We view progress annually, but the true test of a school's influence takes time, and these five-year cycles are that marker. So, watching our Year 13s leave this morning, I am proud of the young men they are becoming. They have given this school their all. They have been connected, stayed true to the values and, especially for those who have stayed the course when the going has got tough, they have grown.
They have known joy and disappointment. They have felt the sting of non-selection or failure, both inside and outside the classroom. But they have also experienced success, felt the pride that comes from resilience, and been excited to see their own progress. As they left the Archway today, I hope they were grateful for the opportunities they have had.
I look forward to seeing them again in a few years' time.
