Brotherhood Cards: Celebrating the Everyday
This year, the 2026 Prefect Team introduced a new initiative called Brotherhood Cards, designed to recognise the everyday positive actions of our junior boys.
While we often celebrate major achievements and awards, the smaller things that happen around school can sometimes go unnoticed. Brotherhood Cards are about recognising these moments and celebrating the positive contributions our boys make to our school culture each day.
From the older brothers to the younger brothers.
Each prefect is given two cards to hand out to junior students they see going above and beyond around the school.
The most common reasons for receiving a card include:
Having a tidy uniform
Helping to keep the school clean
Supporting their mates
So far this year, over 200 Brotherhood Cards have been handed out. Every card earns the student a House Point, with five monthly winners drawn at Junior Assembly to receive a canteen voucher.
The junior boys have really embraced the initiative, and it has been great to see the positive impact it is having across the school. Brotherhood Cards are a way of recognising the “above the hoops” behaviour we see around the school every day.
