Hostel Happenings
On Wednesday evening, School House formally marked the passage of our Year 13 boys as they prepare to leave and find their way in the world as fine young men.
We celebrated their journey by enjoying our traditional pre-Christmas Skippers Feast.
A huge shout-out goes to Donna, Nicola, Glen and everyone who worked tirelessly in the kitchen to prepare and serve such a delicious meal. Thank you for every night that you feed us all so well.
It was a very special evening, shared by Year 13 parents and their sons, with some heartfelt memories being shared. This symbolic event marks an iconic end to their time at School House and celebrates the true brotherhood that has developed along the way.
We were also very excited to congratulate Fred Dowling, our new Head of Hostel for 2027, alongside Deputy Head Boys Leo Garden and Charlie Nichol. These boys were popular choices, and we are sure they will rise to the challenge and fulfil their roles admirably.
Good Bugger Awards 2026
The Good Bugger Awards are voted for by the boys and recognise someone they feel is an "all-round good bugger" – someone who is considerate, cooperative and adds value to the hostel.
Congratulations to:
Senior Good Bugger: Fabian Eschenmoser
Junior Good Bugger: Fita Kadavaki-Lafita
The Top Scholar Award went to Robbie Nichol, a young man who continues to excel academically and has given his time selflessly to assist others at Prep over the past five years. Thank you, Robbie. We appreciate your sense of service and salute you for your outstanding academic results.
