OBHS Parents' Association 2026 Movie Night at the Metro Cinema: Heart of the Beast
To celebrate the end of Term 3, the OBHS Parents' Association is holding a special movie night at the Metro Cinema – and we’d love you to join us.
Thursday 24 September
Doors open: 7pm | Movie starts: 7.45pm
We have secured the entire cinema for the evening, giving us the opportunity to chat and catch up before the movie begins.
Our feature film is Heart of the Beast, starring Oscar-winner Brad Pitt alongside New Zealand mountain rescue dog Uber. The film was shot in and around Milford and Queenstown, which stood in for the Alaskan wilderness.
Tickets – $22 per person. Tickets are strictly limited to 54 seats, as we have the whole cinema to ourselves. Tickets include a glass of wine or juice and an ice cream.
All funds raised will go towards supporting the Science Department at OBHS.
How to purchase tickets
If you would like to join us, please email [email protected] with your name and the number of tickets you would like to purchase.
We will respond to the first 54 ticket requests with a link to a Google Form and payment details. Once tickets have been sold, we will let any remaining enquirers know.
