OBHS v SBHS Winter Interschool Results
The annual Winter Interschool between Otago Boys’ High School and Southland Boys’ High School provided a fantastic day of competition, camaraderie, and school spirit across a wide range of sports and activities.
Students represented their schools with pride in rugby, football, basketball, hockey, squash, clay target shooting, smallbore, chess, and debating. The day showcased the talent, commitment, and sportsmanship of both schools, with many closely contested matches and impressive individual and team performances.
Interschool fixtures such as these are an important part of school life, providing students with the opportunity to challenge themselves, build connections, and represent their school community. Thank you to all the players, coaches, managers, officials, and supporters who contributed to another successful and enjoyable Winter Interschool.
With the 1st XI Hockey match still to be played, the competition remains a memorable occasion celebrating the traditions and values shared by both schools. OBHS currently leads the overall interschool competition 10.5–3.5.
