Quin and Deegan Qualify for BMX World Championships

Congratulations to Year 9 student Quin Parker and Year 13 student Deegan McCormick, who have both qualified to represent New Zealand at the BMX World Championships in Brisbane in July.

Quin and Deegan Qualify for BMX World Championships

Quin and Deegan are among just 15 riders from Dunedin who will proudly wear the silver fern. To secure their places, they recently travelled to Te Awamutu in the Waikato, where they successfully qualified for this incredible opportunity.

Quin will compete in the 24-inch Cruiser Boys 13–14 category, while Deegan will compete in the 20-inch class for the 17–24 year old age group.

Representing New Zealand at a world championship is a remarkable achievement and reflects Quin and Deegan’s dedication, commitment, and hard work in their chosen sport. We wish both boys all the very best as they head across the Tasman, and we look forward to hearing about their experiences and achievements in Brisbane.
