Grevel Attends Prestigious First Foundation Awards Ceremony
Year 13 Pasifika student Grevel McFarland had the opportunity to attend the First Foundation Awards Ceremony, “Night of Firsts”, in Auckland.
As a scholarship winner, alongside other students from across New Zealand who earned the First Foundation Scholarship for 2026, Grevel flew to Auckland for the awards ceremony and to meet with the invested and committed people from First Foundation, who are dedicated to relieving students of financial burden and providing expert career mentorship and guidance as they enter tertiary education.
Grevel expressed his gratitude to Mercy Hospital for acknowledging him, and to First Foundation for awarding him the scholarship and choosing to support him, along with 87 others, with their educational aspirations.
