All Whites Coach Inspires Next Generation
It was a significant occasion for the Otago Boys’ High School football community as All Whites head coach Darren Bazeley visited the school today to engage with the next generation of talent.
Joining Darren Bazeley, were distinguished former All Whites and OBHS icons Mike McGarry and Blair Scoullar, bridging the gap between the school's storied past and its professional future. The visit served as a powerful reminder of the school's rich footballing pedigree; OBHS has long been a powerhouse for national representation, having produced top-tier talent like James McGarry, Cameron Howieson, and Joel Stevens.
The session not only honoured that legacy—including the contribution of the late former Rector and All White Clive Rennie—but also provided the current players with invaluable insights into the pathway to the international stage.
Coach Darren Bazeley was in Dunedin to announce his 26 man squad for the upcoming Football World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico next month.
