The Right Education Makes The Heart As Strong As Oak

Our History

This is a new section in which we will have information about our school's history. There will be links to archival material as and when it is recorded in a form suitable for accessing on here. Any information or amendments will be gratefully received and can be forwarded to the Archivist, Mr David Goodman, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Our museum boasts quite a collection of desks that were engraved by students. Over the next period we hope to feature some photos of these desks and hope they evoke some memories for either the engravers or students of those eras. The first features the late Niel Wales (1940-45) admiring his handiwork, along with Jim Dowell (1946-50) and John Fairmaid (1945-49).
