In the morning, we remembered them

This morning the entire school and guests took part in our annual ANZAC service.

The Rector told the stories of a number of old boys who died in war, some in World War 1 and some in World War 2. Deputy Head Prefect, Reuben Cook and the schools youngest pupil Joseph Chen both read poems. The indoor part of our service ended with Jake Burgess (Head of School House) and Cody Thomson (School House Prefect) reading the names of the 36 old boys who were killed at Gallipoli.

At the end of the service the students lined the path to the archway where wreaths and poppies were laid in remembrance. The school bell tolled 36 times to remember those old boys who fell in the Gallipoli campaign.
