It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Otago Boys’ High School website

Otago Boys’ is proud of its academic, sporting and cultural successes. No matter what your ability level, we will ensure that you get the opportunity to strive for academic achievement.

We are proud of our high standards in Music and the Arts and we will encourage and support you in a wide variety of cultural activities.

Our sporting successes continue to accumulate as the years go by. If you wish and are able to play a sport at the highest level then you will get that opportunity at Otago Boys’. If you wish to play a sport for the sheer joy of playing then you will also be able to do that.

Our peer support programme allows senior and junior boys to mix. The pastoral care network involves our Guidance Counsellor working with two Deans at each Form level. They combine with Form Teachers as a team to work for you, the student. Our curriculum allows a wide variety of subject choices and multi-level combinations can be taken by senior students.
