New Technology Computer Suite – 50k
Computer Design of projects is now a must for students in the senior school. Our recent fibre optic upgrade and broadband capacity have meant easier access for student to the internet. These computers will mean we are at the cutting edge of computer aided design.
Electronic Measuring Equipment for Senior Science – 20k
Very accurate results in our senior chemistry and physics experiments are crucial when working out effects. To have certainty about measurements gives you confidence when presenting outcomes in these very important subject areas.
Museum Restoration – 60k
Last year’s target figure was not met and we need to press on with achieving the goal of preserving our valuable collection of artefacts and treasures. We now have a working drawing of the changes to the Shand bottom floor and we have certainty that the Ministry 5 year plan funding will replace the roof. Old Boys’ returning to visit are always intrigued by our valuable collection of photos and magazines

Even a minimum gift may not sound much when you look at the total costs, but I promise you, altogether with each other’s support it will make a huge difference.
The interest shown by Old Boys’ in the happenings here at school and in the lives of their peers now can focus on together supporting todays and tomorrows Otago Boys’ students. This is how the school community has worked in the past. I am proud of that tradition, both as an Old Boy myself and as the current Rector.
